Pleasant St., Independence, Mo. Pres. Brimley writes: "Elder L. G. Parker and I have visited all the elders laboring in the country districts in the northern part of Kansas. We found them all well and enjoying their labors. ' Elders Chas. Johnson and C. L. Knight are hold I Ing meetings in school houses, averaging six meetings a week. They preached on the street at Morton and sold some copies of the Book of Mormon after the meeting. Elders M. M. Bentley and A. L. Nichols are having good success holding meetings; their hall meetings are well attended. While visiting with them, we received permission to hold a meeting in a theater in the town of Goff. Elders E. Z. Decker and Lester Hansen held a series of meetings for fourteen nights in one school house, with from eighty to one hundred twenty people out to every meeting. Elders bonus Tangren and Harold Price have been working Atchison County. They arrange to get back to the city of Atchison every second Sunday. They have performed three baptisms there. Elders H. V. Morgan and H. Loran Blood are the only elders laboring in the southern part of the State. They hold cottage meetings every night and preach on the street twice on Saturdays.
